I love coming here for sliced Korean bbq meats, matcha green tea, and Asian snacks!!! They have so much here! No membership needed either! I know exactly what I want when I come here too. They have fresh fruits and veggies, frozen fits, tons of noodles and spices and teas!

Came by the other day to check out this warehouse. Resco is like a 99 Ranch in a Costco format. They have numerous aisles, including items in the air for stocking along with huge freezers and coolers. They have a huge assortment of Asian snacks, including from China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Their meat selection caters to wholesalers, with meats sold by the case at ~50 lbs. They also have meat options for individuals sold in smaller packs, at a slightly higher price. Some staff wore a mask as well as gloves.

Resco Food Service is an Asian big box retailer located in City of Industry. Many customers and social media influencers have called this Asian bulk warehouse "Asian Costco" as Resco offers OPTIONAL membership. [Parking]: I didn't have too much issues finding an available spot to park on Saturday at 5:30 PM. [Membership]: Customers do NOT need a membership to shop at Resco. Price for OPTIONAL Resco membership is $30 per year and business membership is $35 per year (must provide valid reseller's permit and tax-exempt certificate and proof that you are authorized to purchase for said business or organization). For business membership, card holders with valid seller's permits and business licenses qualify for sales-tax exemption. For regular Resco membership, card holders will have access to member-only prices for select products. Members also earn a quarterly 1.5% reward (on purchases up to $50k annually) on qualified purchases at Resco. [Amenities]: EBT cards aren't accepted at Resco. Restrooms are available and this is one of cleanest Asian bulk warehouses I have visited. Just like Costco and other Asian grocery markets, free food samples on weekends. [Selection]: Not all items are below market price (e.g. ITO EN 16.9 oz drink was priced $1.99 per bottle), but at least they are not grossly overpriced. However certain produces are good deals like non-organic Fuji apple for less than $1 per pound. While Resco mostly sells Chinese goods, there are actually a good variety of Asian goods from Japan and South Korea. Customers can also find housewares and Eastern medicine (located near customer service counter at the exit). [Conclusion]: Resco is certainly a welcome addition to the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area despite the area is filled with other Asian supermarkets from 99 Ranch, 168 Market, Great Wall (GW) Supermarket, Marukai Market, Tokyo Central, Mitsuwa Marketplace, H Mart, etc. No food court here, but customers will generally find most of Asian goods/items here.

First time here but will now be my first grocery store stop before I check elsewhere. Prices are really good and plenty of options. * The Asian version of Costco. Large warehouse with plenty of stuff. * Membership is optional. $30 annual membership fee (does not auto-renew). Benefits include earning points to redeem for cash discounts off future purchases. Some items have a member discount pricing. At the time of my purchase, they had a promo where they give you a $30 voucher towards your next purchase if you sign up for membership. Basically it nets as free membership for the year, so I signed up. Next time, provide your phone number at checkout register to pull up membership or you can show the card. They don't care if you share membership usage within family and they don't charge extra (unlike Costco) * Huge selection of instant noodles and snacks. * Pretty good selection of frozen meat, sliced meat for bbq/hot pot, and some seafood; found quite a few items that I frequently purchase but lacking in some from regular grocery stores. * Generally prices are better than grocery stores * Produce, fruits and vegetables are not the freshest but pricing is pretty good. So it's still possible to get a good deal out of it if you know how to select items * Large parking lot, just a little inconvenient to enter/exit since you can only pull into the lot going west on Gale Ave, and when you exit you can only exit west direction as well. * Located directly across the street from Walmart, close to Costco, and 2 other major Asian supermarkets (99 Ranch & 168). Convenient enough for a multi--store-hopping shopping day.

Came here with some coworkers around noon on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. I thought you needed a membership, but was told you don't need one and you can get one for $30/year and the membership card will allow you to get discounts on certain items in the store. Does feel like a Costco, but only with all kinds of different asian items. Think it's a little better than regular Asian markets because they have a lot more variety it seems. Prices seemed pretty decent too and I think some of the items I usually get at Chinese supermarkets cost $1-2 less here. Couldn't get any frozen foods, but looks like they have a big variety of items. The fruit and vegetables didn't look the freshest, so I would stay away from those when shopping here. Overall, pretty good experience. If you want some type of Asian food, drink, condiment, or snack, you should be able to find it here.

Pretty cool store! You don't need a membership to enter or shop. Prices vary based on whether you're buying retail, wholesale, or with a membership. We came on Sat, 6/8 afternoon, still plenty of parking and cashier lanes moving fairly quickly. Currently if you get their $30 membership, you receive a $30 voucher to use on your next visit (sign up at Guest Services desk).

Does not need membership to shop. Should you want Resco's membership is $20 annually , reward points system . Been here a few times and each visits I am awe struck by the vast varieties of vegetables . some even questioned why I am so excited over vegetables?! Listen that's the first aisle I am heading to. I tell you Resco did not disappoint, don't forget to peruse the walk in refrigerator sections for more selections of fresh vegetables. Sold by the box or individually wrapped. Of course my children are excited in the snacks , chips aisles . They expressed their excitement by piling up our grocery cart full of snacks. ( sadly I had to limit them on 2 per person.

This is the Asian Costco. They have pretty much everything you can think of in terms of Asian candies, snacks, beverages, noodles, condiments, kitchenware, fruits, frozen food, and much more! They even have samples! The big difference between Costco and Resco is the price. While they offer a wide selection, their prices weren't necessarily cheaper than the regular Asian markets. A few items were cheaper if you bought them in bulk, but most were the same price or more expensive. When my boyfriend and I went, during the grand opening they offered a $30 voucher for your next visit when you purchased an annual membership card for $30. So you basically got free membership for a year. That said, I purchased a membership card. You do not need membership to get in or to purchase; however, there were some items that had a special members only price, and you only saved if you had the membership. For example, a 50-lb bag of the Buddha brand Jasmin rice was $39.99 for non- members but only $37.99 for members. For all the Hello Kitty lovers out there, they have a wide selection of cookies. I was a bit out of control and loaded up my cart!

It was relatively empty at around 9am. We were grateful there wasn't a swarm of people already there. The parking lot had so many slots open. They apparently open right at 8am. There are so many amazing deals to be found if you take your time hunting for those bargains. But most of the products aren't competitively priced and are actually more expensive than if they were sold at Costco or your local Asian supermarket. I was surprised to see such a huge assortment of seafood and meats! It would've been nice though if there were more signs in English because a lot of them were labeled in Chinese. And asking for help from some of the workers didn't do much because a lot of them don't speak English, unfortunately. We didn't know if we had to get a membership to avail of discounts. The cashier asked us if we had one and we said no, but can we get it and how much would it cost? She didn't answer us and proceeded to ring us up. I'm not sure if it's because we didn't have a membership that a bag of scallops advertised in the freezer section as $9.99 turned into $12.99 at the register. Maybe the Dept of Weights and Measures can clarify? Overall, it was a pleasant place to shop. But make sure the price you see on the product aisle is the same price they ring up at the cash register. And be prepared to run into employees who seem reluctant to help you. Try not to take it personally. It felt like most of them were there to handle the inventory and nobody was really trained to provide customer service. Or perhaps it's just growing pains, as they had their grand opening a few months ago. Let's see how this business evolves over time.
